About Mac’s Wood Grilled

Mac’s Wood Grilled, a longtime Wicker Park sports bar housed in a landmarked former Schlitz Brewery-Tied House features appetizers, burgers and sandwiches prepared on a wood-burning grill. Menu highlights include wood-grilled jumbo chicken wings with sauces such as Garlic Parmesan or Mango Habanero; nearly a dozen burgers with options such as the Bacon & Eggs Burger; and a lineup of sandwiches like the Clucker, with wood-grilled chicken breast, pine nut-and-basil pesto, Swiss and hickory-smoked peppered bacon.

The corner bar has two seasonal outdoor patios; both have views of the landmarked building’s exterior mural painted by street artists from Momentum Art Tech, which is based in Oak Park, Illinois. The mural features vivid images done in an eye-catching palette of black, white and red.

Look for an impressive selection of 25 draft beers with a craft beer core and a seasonally rotating lineup; the draft list always includes at least five 3 Floyds drafts and three WarPigs drafts.

Mac’s is Division Street’s top sports bar, and you can catch all the games on 17 Ultra HDTVs. Home of all Chicago teams (White Sox, Cubs, Bears, Blackhawks, Bulls and Fire). There’s always sports on the TVs including MLB, NBA, NFL, NHL, NCAA, AEW, UFC, soccer, and more.
